Satisfaction

Is this it? Are we just going to accept the mediocre? We don't want life, we'll accept slavery. We don't want happiness, we want to be discontent. All of this is getting us nowhere, but we don't care. We'll be rude and mean, we don't want to consider or think about anything. We'll get on hands and knees for these broken down, angry, selfish people we call celebrities. We'll make fools of ourselves just to get the illusion of acceptance. We don't want a good job, we'll settle for a dangerous low-wage job. We'll accept deadly food and toxins to live on. We'll leave an arguement and be content with the damage we've caused without any intention to apologize. We're happy to not forgive. We're fine with being treated like slaves. We've accepted the insults that have been hurled at us, even if they are far from true. We accept the words of elders putting us down. What do we truly want?
